Mundesley Village Cinema is organised by Mundesley Coronation Hall Film Club. Our objective is
to bring quality film screenings to the Mundesley area. The Film Club is an offshoot of the
registered charity Mundesley Coronation Hall (Charity number: 304014) and any profit goes to the
charity.
The Film Club works with Creative Arts East Village Screen , Moviola and Filmbank Distributors to
hire movies and pay the performing rights. Typically it costs over £120 to screen each movie and
arrange publicity.
Evening screenings are shown on the second Tuesday of the month in the Coronation Hall located
at 26 Cromer Rd., Mundesley NR11 8BE. Typically, doors open at 7pm when refreshments are
served and the film starts at 7.30pm sharp. We do not take reservations except for wheelchair
users and tickets are purchased at the door.
In 2016, the projection equipment was upgraded to give a better, bigger image. The digital sound system comes with a hearing aid induction
loop.
As a village cinema for the community, the Film Club Committee is interested in working with young people who have an interest in movies
and would like to take responsibility for organising film shows for their contemporaries. If you are interested, please get in touch.
The volunteer committee members are: Pam Malone, Paul Reynold,
John Palmer and Peter & Jan Molyneux. New committee members are
