ostrich Boat Day drew large crowds 19th July 2010

Boat Day on The Green drew much bigger crowds this year probably because of the beautiful weather and the wide variety of stalls. All the proceeds from this event each year go to the Mundesley Volunteer Inshore Lifeboat. The event was preceded by a church service and included a flying visit from the Air Ambulance helicopter.

ostrich Village Fayre in Gold Park raises over £2800 30th June 2010

With more still to come in, the Fayre raised over £2800 for the venture. There was a huge turn-out at the Village Fayre in Gold Park. The beautiful sunshine brought out the holiday crowds and the event will hopefully have raised plenty of money in aid of the Mundesley Youth and Community appeal. ostrich Ostrich found ! 24th June 2010

Mundesley Players were more than delighted with offers of help when they desperately needed a stuffed ostrich for their July play. Auditions were arranged and the successful candidate was a Victorian novelty item from Trimingham.

They are also looking for a Musical Director. someone who can play piano/keyboard. Please click HERE for more details.

Museum Mundesley Youth and Community 22nd March 2010

Mundesley is proposing to have an indoor community centre on the space behind the Adventure Golf Centre. The centre would be a meeting place for the young and older people of Mundesley with a games area and all-weather sports centre.
It has just been announced that they have been awarded £47k to re-develop the Gold Park play area.

Museum Mundesley Maritime Museum 16th March 2010

Mundesley Maritime Museum will re-open on Saturday 1st May 2010.
Their theme will be Mundesley's Railway Heritage, and will chart the age of steam from the start of construction until its closure in 1964.

Mundesley Library holds various events which may be of interest to local people but who, perhaps, do not know of their existence. These have now now been included in the "Events" page and it is hoped that more people will now be aware of them and take advantage of the many facilities offered by the library.
